My Best Six Images

This is a very simple photo that I took while on vacation at blue mountain. I chose it as one of my best because I find it very visually appealing because of the window repetition, and the break in repetition with the open window.

"Microsoft"  (Cause Windows)

I love this photo because of the bright captivating colors, and because of the focus and clarity. Before this photo I had always struggled with having what I wanted in focus, this was one of the first photos that clearly demonstrate that skill for me in my opinion.

Oil and water is a unique style of photography, but in looking at examples I felt as though they all looked very similar, so I mixed some food coloring and attempted to create something unique. In the photo there are two strong focal points creating a fairly equal visual weight, and the depth of field creates some unique focus and clarity to the photo.

"Bubbles"

"Hungry Puppy"

I had always seen this style of photography done by Andrius Burba and wanted to try it. This was a difficult photo with unique setup. I feel it is one of my best because it is technically really good, with good exposure, focus, and clarity, I also feel like its one of my best because its unique and the dog is pretty cute too.

I chose this as one of my best because it was something I had never attempted with gels before, and I think it worked really well. This year I really took to high contrasting images, and i find the vibrancy of the blue works well with the contrast to create a visually appealing image.

"Blue"

This photo was accidental, one of my lights didn't fire, but that created this high contrast light. Next time I would get him to take out the earring because it could be considered distracting for some people. His expression pairs well with the lighting and exposure, along with the weighting, contrast, and clarity this photo is visually nice and simple to look at, making this one of my best.
